Log in to your PeopleWisher account and go to the Settings page. Add your local phone number under the SMS Gateway section.
Use the download button above to get the SMS Gateway APK file onto your Android phone.
Open the downloaded APK to install the app on your Android phone. When prompted, allow all requested permissions — these are required for the app to send SMS on your behalf.
Open the app and input the exact phone number that is on this device. Make sure it matches the number you entered in the SMS Gateway section of your PeopleWisher settings.
Tap "Save Settings and Start Scheduler" to activate the connection. Your phone is now ready to deliver celebration SMS greetings automatically.
Stay connected: Keep your device connected to the internet at all times so PeopleWisher can communicate with your phone for timely delivery of celebration greeting SMS.
Custom check frequency: You can change how often the phone checks for pending SMS — set it to a specific time of day, or every X minutes — directly from the app settings.
Remote ping: If PeopleWisher notices messages have been pending for a while, it will remotely ping your phone to prompt an immediate check, helping ensure greetings are still delivered on time.
